Visit the account opening page and complete the secure online application. You'll need to provide personal information, employment details, and select your account type such as individual, TFSA, or RRSP. The process typically takes between five and ten minutes to complete.
Open AccountUpload a photo of a government-issued ID such as a driver's license or passport. We use secure encryption to protect your documents. Verification usually completes within one business day, after which you'll receive a confirmation email and can proceed to fund your account.
Link your Canadian bank account and transfer funds electronically, or use a wire transfer for larger amounts. Most electronic transfers arrive within one to three business days. There is no minimum deposit required, though some account types may have contribution limits based on government regulations.
Familiarize yourself with the trading interface, research tools, watchlists, and portfolio tracking features. We recommend watching our tutorial videos and exploring the demo mode before placing your first trade. Ensure you are using the correct email address and password. If you've forgotten your password, click the Reset Password link on the login page. Check that your account has been fully verified and activated. If you're still experiencing issues, clear your browser cache or try a different browser. Contact support if the problem persists.
Log in to your account and navigate to Settings, then Security. Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication and follow the prompts to link your mobile device using an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Authy. You'll receive a QR code to scan. Once enabled, you'll need to enter a verification code each time you log in.
Check that you have a stable internet connection via WiFi or mobile data. Ensure your app is updated to the latest version available in the App Store or Google Play. Close and reopen the app to refresh the connection. If delays persist, check if there are any scheduled maintenance windows or market closures affecting data feeds.
Log in to your account and go to Account, then Statements and Documents. Select the statement type such as monthly, quarterly, or annual and choose the date range you need. Click Download to save the PDF to your device. Statements are typically available by the fifth business day of each month for the previous month's activity.
